The Public Safety Committee will be voting on the enabling legislation that will establish operational procedures for the new Police Commission. It’s item #8 on the Agenda. The Coalition for Police Accountability has submitted a Substitute Ordinance which is based on the Kalb.Gallo Ordinance but has several key changes. These alterations and the reasons for them are listed in our “Proposed Amendments” document.
